Miss Icha Hapsari | Co-Founder, Principal

Miss Icha is a passionate early childhood educator who holds a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) from The University of Melbourne, Australia. She has been working in this Industry since 2014.

Her strong Reggio Emilia Pedagogical Approach has supported her play-based teaching practices of Australia’s Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Her idealistic aspiration of creating a safe play space for children to explore about their cultural roots and surrounding environment can be seen on her work in creating Sangkabira curriculum at Rumah Belajar Sangkabira, a learning space built by Baraka Nusantara*, a social enterprise that she co-founded.

Mrs Mirna Van De Paverd | Co-Founder, Advisor

Mrs Mirna graduated from Deakin University with a double degree in Teaching and the Arts, majoring in Psychology. She has been teaching in Australian schools since 2005. Her passion for positive and inclusive education, lead her into a Pastoral care leadership position where she was responsible for ensuring that students are nurtured, cared, and engaged in a positive way. Her many achievements include leading her 2018 language class to the second highest IB Diploma result in the world.
